#19 Vansda National Park

It is a dense deciduous woodland with 443 unique species of flora, including groves of bamboo and a rich fauna population. Some animals and reptiles you can find here are Indian leopards, dholes, hyenas, wild boars, flying squirrels, Pythons, Russell Vipers, Cobras, etc.
It is also a haven for bird watchers. Some common sights include yellow-backed sunbird, Malabar trogon, shama, and jungle blabber. Vansda National Park receives rainfall of over 2000 mm during the monsoon, so it is closed for three months during that season. There is also a scenic Giri Waterfalls near the park.
